1GAP Gallery is a unique gallery space created by the residents of the One Grand Army Plaza building in Brooklyn, NY. It is a place where local artists of all backgrounds, education, and experiences are encouraged and exhibited. The gallery is intended to enrich the visual, emotional, and intellectual lives of the residents while providing a world-class exhibition space for exceptional talent and craft. 

1GAP Gallery is run by a committee of residents that hires a different curator each year to work closely with them in creating each show. Along with exhibitions, the gallery presents artist-led panel discussions, receptions, and other art events.
